Our integration with Intercom allows you to play visitor recordings directly from Intercom.
You can see what your customer was doing on the site while you are chatting with him in Intercom. This gives you precious context about the customer when supporting and allows you or your support team to easily verify customer’s story if reports a bug or an issue on your website. Instead of a lengthy conversation with the customer and trying to decipher what exactly happened you can simply watch a recording. Based on that insight you can immediately transfer given issue to your development team so they can fix whatever is wrong.
You need to have both Smartlook and Intercom installed on your website.
Log in to Smartlook and go to Account.
Go to Integrations. If you have several websites in Smartlook, choose the one you want to connect with Intercom. Click Add and Authorize.
You will get redirected to Intercom. Click Connect to confirm Smartlook connection.
You will get redirected back to Smartlook, where you can see the integration is enabled.
Start chatting with your customers in Intercom and see Smartlook recordings in user detail.
